Father’s Day is coming right up! This is a sweet and personalized gift idea for
Dad or Grandpa. I was really excited with how this turned out. : )
You’ll just need a couple posters, scissors, an exacto knife, and some thread or string (you’ll see why in just a second. : )
Hand write “We love (or heart) you!” on the posters in block letters. It can be on one piece of poster or spread out on more. I did 3 so my three oldest kids could each hold one. My youngest was a good “helper” with the poster holding.
To get the center of the “e” to stay, tape some string across the pieces as shown in the picture above.
Then it’s just a matter of finding the right spot and time of day for the perfect shadow. The kids will just need to hold the posters upside down and backwards (I think that’s how we had them) in order to read the words correctly. And they’ll have to be in the right order and holding still-this took us a few tries. : ) I think this is so sweet, as a gift or just for fun!
