We were on TV! And Wood Connection winner!

Yesterday, Steff and I headed to downtown Salt Lake for our big TV debut!  We were so excited and nervous!  We went shopping for TV worthy outfits,  I fixed my hair and even put on makeup (it’s summer, those things haven’t happened a whole lot : )  Every person we encountered up at Channel 2 was so incredibly nice!  Debbie and Casey (the hosts of Fresh Living) were so easy to talk to.  We were showing how to make our giant bubbles;  we didn’t have much wind, and by “much,”  I mean none!  I still think it all turned out good, even without the help of a breeze. : )

AND I managed to keep my self humiliation to off camera time.  Like when I asked if we could get a picture with Casey and Debbie, they said yes (of course);  then I made a crazy lady sprint to the door back into the building to grab my phone.  Before I reached the door someone was yelling to me “you can’t get in!”  Oh yeah, you need a swiper card to get in that door.  I turned back to some confused stares at my sudden burst of enthusiasm.  See, I thought the camera men told the hosts it was time for them to go, so I was just trying to hurry.  They were not in a hurry though…..and then we got a picture in a nice leisurely fashion like not crazy lady people would do. : )  

All in all-we had so much fun!  We were both more nervous to watch it than we were to film it.  It’s always weird to see and hear yourself third party.  Steff and I both agree though, it turned out pretty dang good!
