This is the quickest, cheapest little project ever! Which makes for some awesome instant gratification – we need that sometimes with projects don’t you think?
I picked up all the wood blocks, finials, and paper from The Wood Connection for just under $4! Dead serious! I couldn’t pass up this adorable paper.
Step one: paint the blocks and finials.
Step 2: cut the paper sections you want to use and glue them to your blocks. (We used the Wood Connections wood glue.)
Step 3: insert the wood finial into the pre-drilled hole on the block and use a file to smooth the edges for a perfect fit.
That’s it, welcome to the instant gratification of crafting! Love it!
And this is my Valentine Decor in it’s entirety.
(See how to make the BE MINE banner project HERE. It’s another Wood Connection treasure! See how to make the felt rosette ball HERE.)

We’ll announce a winner on Monday!
Have an awesome weekend!
Thanks for the inspiration! I love mini garland on the wooden pedestals. I don’t live in Utah, but found a way to create a similar look with hardware store supplies. Thanks for sharing!
