Back in January, we had a post titled “Stuff to Paint” (see it HERE.) We are so excited that most of the furniture from that post is now painted! My laundry basket dresser (sharing soon,) my piano (also sharing soon-see some Instagram peeks HERE, HERE, & HERE,) coffee table (see it HERE,) and now this darling nightstand for my older girls room.
I had sworn off of pink for my girls bedroom, until…….I spotted this spray paint at Hobby Lobby. The color is Watermelon, and it has me swooning over pink again- Watermelon pink! It’s so bold and bright and has a little Salmon hint to it. I love it! Here’s the piece that we got at the DI for $10.
We cleaned the nightstand really well and sprayed 3 coats of the spray paint. It’s a Gloss finish which I also love so it’s nice and shiny and will hold up great!
It’s a big improvement over the dresser drawer turned nightstand I had there before (HERE.) It never did grow on me like I wanted it too. It was just a little too boring for the space, and looked too cluttered.
Be sure to check out some of our other furniture makeovers!
