Painted Terra Cotta Pots

May 13, 2014 By: Melanie

Painted Terra Cotta Pots (1)

It’s Transformation Tuesday here!  Today we’re transforming some cheap Terra Cotta pots.  This is about a 30 minute project from start to finish, it’s also super easy.   All you need are some little Terra Cotta pots, some white paint, and a gold Sharpie.  I have had these  pots sitting on a kitchen shelf for a long time-I painted them white a long time ago too.  They were overdue for a little transformation! 🙂Painted Terra Cotta Pots (4) Painted Terra Cotta Pots (3)

First step, paint the pots white.  Then all I did is free hand a simple design with the gold sharpie.  My designing is terribly imperfect, which I expected, but I love them!  I was going for the hand drawn look. 🙂 Painted Terra Cotta Pots (2)

Seriously, the Sharpie designing only took me about 10 minutes!  Painted Terra Cotta Pots (6)

There are Sharpies in every color these days!  Have you seen them?  I finally bought me a pack and can’t wait to find more uses for them.  Happy Tuesday!  Are you transforming anything??

Oh!  don’t forget we have 2 giveaways going on right now!  You could win $25 to the Wood Connection HERE, and FREE BRACES see HERE!
