We shared this Fall Fabric Wreath over at the Ribbon Retreat last week. We love the Ribbon Retreat! Their blog is packed with creative projects and their products are awesome. Be sure to hop over and check them out.
Are you as excited for Fall as we are?! As much as I love summer, I still think Fall is my favorite time of year. Pumpkins will be filling our homes and porches soon enough, but until the pumpkins are ready, we thought we’d get a start on some Fall decorating. What could be better than a gorgeous gold and white wreath to welcome the beautiful season?!
Here’s what you need:
Our wreath form is an old fan grate we found at a small gift shop. They can also be found at consignment/antique shops or maybe even a local thrift store. A wire wreath form from the craft store is great too.
First, cut the fabric into strips about 1 inch wide.
Next, cut the strips into lengths of about 6 inches. The amount of fabric needed and the number of strips will really vary depending on the size of your wreath form and how full you make it.
Once the strips are cut, just start tying them onto the wires of the wreath form.
We chose to alternate the gold and white. We really like the color block look.
Once the wreath is as full as you like, simply weave a piece of ribbon through the it.
Hot glue the two ends of the ribbon.
That’s it! Ready to hang for Fall!
We love the look of the fraying fabric, and the consistent messiness of the knots! We also love how easy this wreath is to make! Fool proof! Are you ready to start pulling out Fall colors? Have a fabulous day!
